Baptism.

Baptism is a pretty tricky topic to cover. There are pretty much two view points you can pick in my mind. Full submersion baptism meaning your entire body is put under water and the holy spirit rushes through you, or a simple cross or holy water being splashed on your forhead. The question comes up, well who exactly is right? Here's a quote from the bible for all you full submersion supporters that will back you up. Matthew 16: As soon as Jesus was baptized, he went up out of the water. At that moment heaven was opened, and he saw the spirit of God descending like a dove and lightning on him. Hm, in my mind that sounds pretty convincing. Be baptised and god will be opened up to you. Now the idea of the cross on your forehead I think is valid as well. However in my opinion, I feel that if you are baptised as an infant, you should make sure to be confirmed. In most Churches confirmation simply means that you are an adult of the church for you are accepting the baptismal vows your parents made for you. This includes denouncing Satan and all his evils of the world. A quote that could back up this way of baptism is Mark 1:8 John says, " I baptize you with water, but he will baptize you with the holy spirit." Now this raises the question is it the water that saves you, or is it really the acceptance of your God Jesus Christ who is washing you with the holy spirit that is inside all of us. In my opinion as long as you are either baptised at an age that you can remember, or you take confirmation at an age old enough to understand it, why should it matter? I have been baptised both ways and i must say I enjoyed full submersion much more. To be honest with you though, it is not our choice who is saved and who is not. It is in the hand of God the father.
